  • details of transactions you carry out with NEWLINE MALAYSIA.

NEWLINE MALAYSIA may use the personal data it holds and collects about you to:

  • provide you with information, products and services you request from NEWLINE MALAYSIA;
  • underwrite and administer your policy;
  • undertake obligations arising out of or in any way involving contracts entered into between you and NEWLINE MALAYSIA including, without limitation, assessing and processing claims under policies purchased from NEWLINE MALAYSIA;
  • notify you of changes to NEWLINE MALAYSIA’s products and services;
  • communicate with you in response to your enquiries, comments and suggestions; and
  • contact you when necessary.

Disclosure of Your Information
NEWLINE MALAYSIA may also disclose your personal data to third parties:

  • who perform (re)insurance, business or professional functions for NEWLINE MALAYSIA including, without limitation, (re)insurance companies, (re)insurance brokers, professional advisers and other service providers involved in investigating, adjusting, defending and settling claims involving you or auditing including, without limitation, investigators, independent claims adjusters, professional advisers and other service providers.
  • if it sells or buys any business or assets, in which case NEWLINE MALAYSIA may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • if NEWLINE MALAYSIA or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by NEWLINE MALAYSIA about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
